We made it home yesterday evening. Our family came to the airport to greet us and meet Simeon. He did really well on the flights. Our direct flight from Hong Kong to Chicago had a major delay, so they put us on a flight to Newark, NJ. From there we went to Chicago, and then home. Simeon did great on the 14 1/2 hour flight up until the landing, when he vomited. His poor little body was so messed up at that point, and it was a bumpy landing. Then he had some troubles on our flight from Chicago to Peoria. He was just plain exhausted and did not want a seat belt on. Thankfully it was only about a 1/2 hour flight.
It is WONDERFUL to be home! Thanks for all of your prayers! Please pray for Simeon's adjustment, as last night and today have been rough. (as expected). We are so thankful that the Lord led us to him.
